How it Works. The Certified Ambassador Mortgage Underwriter (NAMU®-CAMU) is designed for mortgage underwriters with at least 15 years of prior mortgage underwriting experience -OR- has at least 42 hours of training through our online mortgage training partner Mortgage Underwriter University®.
